They have the best Masseuse & Skin Care Specialist around all under one roof in a great location!.
Amber, the Esthetician (Facialist) is fantastic, her extensive training in her profession throughout the US and abroad is clearly evident in her skill. She takes the time to address skin concerns with you beforehand, and follows up after the relaxing and fabulous service, advises you on a skincare routine for your particular skin type.
I've seen both Jen & Louise for massages and they're both great, they have such a positive and chilled out vibe about them which really helps you to relax, and they also take the time to customize your massage to your problem areas and intensity levels.
Even the front desk folks are great at accommodating you and making sure your visit is top notch.
I reccommend this Salon & Spa to anyone!
Funky, Intimate Salon with Good (not great) Salon Skill. The girls were very cute, and more friendly than not. They did seem rushed, though - even though there was nobody else waiting. I love their service of pedicures on the porch. I've only had their indoor pedicures, but Park Ave is such a bustling place with so many interesting people, that sitting on a nice big porch, people watching and getting a pedicure on a beautiful day seems like the perfect thing to do. The haircut was good, not great. One problem: I called ahead of time and requested some one skilled with long hair. I have some pretty long hair. They eagerly set me up with a girl (wish I could remember her name), who complained incessantly about how much she disliked working with long hair. I felt rather put off by that. The place is decorated really nicely - very funky. It is a small salon, intimate enough to feel as if you're in a person's home. I'm sure it was a home in the not-so-distant past. All-in-all, it was a nice salon experience, but nothing to write home about.
