Canandaigua's Worst.. My family took me here for my birthday and it was one of the worst experiences ever in my life.

There was something wrong with each and every one of our five dishes.

Who would guess the odds of that!

The service is adolescent.

Salad bar attendant is non existant and facility is unkempt.

No atmosphere or nice music.

Ownership/management is aloof and uncaring.

Please stay away!

Will never frequent again.. Ordered a "steamboat" burger medium rare that was very much over cooked. No seasoning on the burger either.

Sweet potato fries were burn't. Server was oblivious to the fact that I didn't eat them

Server didn't refill drinks once.

Felt rushed but when waiting for the check, it took forever.

My guest had the salad bar that seemed out of place in this restaurant. Her soup was sour and overly salty.

She said the salad bar was not fresh.

Place seemed very empty and quiet for this time of year compared to other restaurants in the area. I can see why.????????

Service and quality are abysmal.

Management seems uncaring.

Will not return. Eric's office remains the finest choice

in the resort town of Canandaigua.

Delicious food. Stopped in for my first try at Steamboat. We were greeted promptly. Our server was polite and courteous. Our food arrived and I must say, I was impressed first by the appearance and next by the taste. Great flavor! I will certainly spread the word about dining at Steamboat!

Nice View- That's It. Was a favorite place but under new ownership it is poor. Slow sevice- long wait (75 min) for entrees after appetizer- cleanliness problems- seemed unconcerned with a medium steak that was raw- Listed with simply certificates but will not accept them- sent three e-mails concerning the debacle with my 80 year old parents on mother's day eve but they were not concerned enough even to respond. Never again until someone else takes over- which will not be long under the current management.
