Blah food, bitchy manager.

I live in the Park ave area and frequent it's many restaurants and cafes. Magnolias by far is the worst on Park ave! It's food is overpriced and not of the highest quality either. They only take one card per table and are unable to split checks. I recently was in there and ran into a problem with my food and I asked to speak with the manager. She at first refused to come out and then finally she did, she claimed she was too busy to help me because it was during her "lunch rush" and she was very rude. I will never go back to that place. I'm not wasting my money on half ass food and shitty customer service (on the managers part, the servers seemed embarrassed by her behavior.)

Can't believe how rude the manager is

Having lived in the Park Ave. area for many years now and being an avid fan of many of the restaurants that line this street...I am appalled at the customer service from this restaurant. I will rate the food average at best when compared with its neighbor, Park and Oxford Deli. However, I still did enjoy a pizza there once in a while. But when their manager decided to hang up on me because I was calling during their busy lunch hour, I am 100% positive that I will never again go back to this restaurant. I would recommend you save your dollars for a place that actually values your business.

Avoid on Busy Days

The food at Magnolia's is good, but a bit pricey. Today since it was a nice spring day I decided it would be nice to bring my family to Magnolia's since I usually go with business associates during the week. We were seated in the back corner of the restaurant while everyone else was seated outside, or near the front window. This situation lead to us not being addressed by a server for 5 minutes, and when she did greet us you could tell she was distracted.

Our order was taken and food brought out in a timely fashion, however our server forgot about us. She never came over to see how our meals were, and when it came time for a refill we had to have the hostess track her down. When we expressed our frustration with the manager we told it was our fault for coming in on nice day when they weren't staffed properly??? Then we waited for another five minutes for our check and when the server arrived she offered more excuses and a half-sincere apology. When she returned after running our card the server literally threw the check into my hands, very angrily.

Needless to say we will not be returning.

snobby and rude

The place is so convenient for me to get to however i HATE going there, the servers are so rude and the food is so over priced. yes it is good but not for what they are charging. and not to mention they wont let you split the bill or do separate checks! In the fine dining restaurants you can request that and they will do it. If the servers hate their job so much leave. The lady owner is so rude too. it really is sad because i think they could do alot better if their attitudes were different
