My Paradise. Rochester has been difficult for me to get used to. Finding a hairstylist sucked! My search ended when i found Michael. He has never let me leave disappointed. Mainly because he asks all the right questions to find out exactly what i am looking for even if i don't know what that is.

Great Atmosphere, Better Stylists. This salon in the trendy South Wedge is nothing short of a gem. Stylist Stephanie is great at what she does and even a better person. If you're looking for a place where you can get a great cut, color, etc and have fun at the same time, this is it. I would recommend to anyone!

Finally a great salon and stylist !!!. After trying several salons in the Rochester I found Isobel, via citysearch! I was amazed!!! The Salon is cheerful, great decor, and lacks the hectic-chaotic feel that seems to be a theme in the Beauty industry. Thanks to Stephanie, I can finally look in the mirror without being frustrated, or having to come home and trim a bad haircut. For the first time in years I love my hair! She was wonderful! Stephanie was incredibly pleasant, personable, and did an amazing job with the color, cut, and styling! I would highly recommend her to anyone. I've gotten numerous compliments!!!! Isobel is definitely deserving of all Five Stars!!!

OMG I love it!. I fu%$ing love what you do with my hair Michael. It's always interesting, bold, fun and never looks exactly the same twice. Where have you been all my life? lol. Thanks for inspiring me. Plus it's always fun to hang out with you and Stephanie.

rochester's best kept secret. Who knew that in the back of a building in the south wedge I would find the salon i was always looking for. I tried all of the big ones and the service was always the same, bad. I like the calm relaxed atmosphere of a small salon where you really feel like your theonly one that matters. Thanks isobel for treating me like a princess.

Isobel. I hesitate to even mention how fabulous Isobel is because I fear I shall never be able to get an appointment again. Isobel is truly the best salon in Rochester -- I should know. I've tried 'em all from Scott Miller to Shear Ego to lots of places on Park Avenue. Michael's level of personal attention makes you feel like you are the only person in the room, and Stephanie is a fabulous stylist and great personality. The salon is warm both in atmosphere and personality! Don't be surprised if you have to wait a while to get an appointment -- but those who are patient will understand that Isobel is a diamond in downtown Rochester.

best haircut. Loved it!!! Stephanie is the best she listened and did excactly what we agreed on. Being new in town it is really tough to find a stylist you trust, look no further. isobel is fun and relaxing, they know how to put you at ease during that first visit. I highly recommend it.

great haircut. All i can say is WOW! Having found this place has made my move from NYC so much easier. I thought i would never find a hairstylist here until a freind told me about isobel. I love my color and my haircut was just whta i asked for. Not to mention how cool this place is inside
