best chinese food in rochester. I can't say enough good things about this place. Starting off with the entrance; which is set behind these very inconspicuous black doors that do not give you any idea of what you are walking into. Once inside you immediately see the bar and hostess stand. In many years of going to chinese restaurants the one thing that I always noticed was no one ever sat at the bar of these other places. Well not here at Chen, the bar was warm and inviting and I was quickly greeted warmly by the bartender and after a few minutes I was talking with locals about the sports on the TV or other interests. I was sat with my quest very quickly and the food was top notch, prepared fresh and portions were above average but not overwhelming. The price was about standard, but really it was the inside warmth of the place that really impressed me.
