Great food, super service.
I had a group of 35 booked in for dinner in August and it could not have gone smoother. The staff was most accommodating and the speed of service was stellar. I've been arranging these group dinners around the Finger Lakes Region for 10 years and this is one of the best places.
On a more personal note, they have the best meatloaf I've ever tasted. I'm taking family members back during the holiday season for dinner.
There were absolutely no complaints from any of my group.
Horrible Service, especially from Management/Owners. My husband and I went to eat at Peppers (spent a lot of money and tipped our waitress very well). However, before we left, we ordered red sauce to go. A couple days later, I opened the sauce while prepping for dinner. I was pretty sure that from tasting, smelling and seeing what was in the container was not what I ordered. I called and talked to a manager, who was very rude and sure that I was wrong and that I did receive what I ordered. I buckled and made the 40 minute drive (total time for driving both ways) to get what I should have received. When I arrived, the manager said that the sauce was actually a lobster bisque. I then told her that I had stuck my finger in the sauce that she was holding that was thawed and had sat in my fridge for a couple days. She didn't care. She proceeded to turn her back, after taking both quarts of the sauce from my hands and walk into the kitchen. Standing at the front counter, I watched her place the sauce back into the kitchen storage. (Hopefully this was shrunk and thrown out... Who knows!?! Can you say Gross!). Anyways, the manager was very unfriendly and acted as though she couldn't get me out of there faster after she came back with the sauce. In the meantime, there was bickering going on between staff over this incident. There was no "Sorry for the inconvenience" or apologizing for making the extra trip out. The manager was in a big hurry to get rid of me with no making up by offering something. I was shocked because I wasn't nasty or unfriendly toward them. I did however muster the courage to speak up (twice) to ask for a sugar cookie for the inconvenience it was. Whatever happened to the saying "the customer is always right" and making sure that customers are happy? At least, let's just hope that no one is eating that lobster bisque I gave back!! Geesh.
good food poor service. We have been to this establishment many times and the food has always been wonderful it is the staff that makes it awful. They are snobs and not polite at all but since my hubby and I are bubbly we just over look that part due to a great meal the staff seems to be the same so must be family owned but they need to smile and at least greet you upon arrival. Still gotta say the food is good
great place to eat. good food served at a great price, clean and neat
Creative menu and specials, one of the only places to go that has different and delicious sandwiches, with excellent sides and deserts!
Actually the best sandwich that I ever had was thier, it had pulled pork, somekind of specialty mayo, pepper coleslaw, and something else - I know it sounds crazy but I liked everything on the sandwich so I thought I'd try it and I was so glad I did!
Aviod period!. The servers are rude and small like alcohol. They also made my sandwich raw, and served my wife raw chicken. From what you could see the deli side was dirty and kitchen staff was wearing sleveless shirts. It made me want to call the health services. They need a big management change before I would ever consider eating there again.
User review by jakarpe. one of the best cooks in Canandaigua created this menu. The staff is always friendly and the food is worth the wait!
