Brighton >Jolie Salon & Spa Inc
I went to Jolie spa for a facial with Mary. It was fantastic! Her hands were very warm and soft. Her pressure was perfect. She knew exactly what she was doing. My skin felt fabulous for a very long time. Other facials I've had felt nice and my skin felt good afterwards but not for long. This facial was different and she worked out all my knots in my traps! All I can say is WOW! I'm going back for sure! I also purchased a night cream and a day cream. What a huge difference. Mary also respected my pocket book while recommending skin care. My husband and friends even noticed how I looked! Thank you Mary
Went in yesterday for a Spa Facial with an extra Oxygen treatment. Loved my time there. Very clean, relaxing professional environment. Great value and will definitely return for other services.
I went here for the first time and had
a pedicure and manicure from mila the owner. I really loved it! Btw Jennifer, the salon had no smells from chemicals and the dog is non hypoallergenic. He just lays around and doesn't make a sound and probably weighs 7 lbs! Are you kidding me?! This salon is huge and it was very busy and still no odors at all. As far as I'm concerned, I found a new home! Very friendly, clean and professional!
I will have to have my hair done there too. I hear Elana is very good.
Meh Service - Quite Pricey for what it was..
I had gotten a living social deal for this location for a mani/pedi and hair cut. I was very excited because with the coupon the price was right.
Once I got there and I had sat on the chair to get my mani/pedi is when I discovered that there was a dog allowed to be out and about at the "Spa". I am mildly allergic to dogs, and frankly felt uncomfortable with his presence. I know that the dog was small but if I was getting a contact high from all of the fumes from the hair salon side I can only imagine how bad that must have been for the dog!
Anyway, when I asked the patron if there was anything that could be done about the dog not being right by me, I was made to feel bad for even suggesting that someone would not want this small dog at the salon.
If you are allergic to pets, get grossed out by pets being in a hair salon or have a moral objection to a pet being subject to all the fumes that go along with working at a hair salon, then this is not the place for you.
As far as the service, it was pricey for what it was. Once I had mentioned that I was uncomfortable with the pet my mani/pedi was not very good. Because of this, I just took a trim to make sure that the staff wouldn't take out there frustration on my hair.
Definitely not worth the price, agony nor frustration.
Best facial!. I went to Jolie for a facial and was pleasantly surprised! I have traveled for many years and have had facials from all over the world. When I went to Jolie, Mary was my facialist. She was very professional, knowledgable and a great touch! I would highly recommend her to anyone and if I ever come back to Rochester, I will go again. I saw a review re a dog in the salon. The dog is a tiny little guy who doesn't bother anyone. Im not big on the idea of a dog in a salon but to be honest, he brought a smile to my face when I first walked in because it was unexpected. He just sat there not bothering anyone and was just the cutest! I say keep him there Jolie!
