The Best Sushi in Rochester is in Gates. Who knew?. Edoya Sushi is the most authentic Japanese restaurant in Rochester. It is owned and operated by a Japanese family who bring true Asian culture with them.

Since the sushi chef is also the owner, he can tailor the food exactly to your liking and can cater to all types of dietary preferences: Vegetarian, Vegan, food allergies, etc.

Try any of the combination dinners. You will not be disappointed. Also try any of the seasonal dishes as a special delight. The asparagus and black sesame is delicious.

Gates may not be known as the sushi capital of the world but Edoya Sushi certainly gives it a good head start. Definitely worth a visit !
