Fantastic! Everything I would ask for at a Tea Room!. Not only is the food great ~ the scones and devonshire cream are to die for! The atmosphere is eclectic and the owner, Maureen, is incredible! Recommend that if you have any little girls, the tea parties are the tops!

such a cute place. We enjoyed our lunch and the service was great. The owner came around and talked to everyone. I thought that was a nice touch. If you go, make sure you wear a hat or a fethery boa to enhance your experience! A great place to take mom or grandma. It does get a little crowded so call ahead.

Excellent Rochesterian teahouse.
I went to La Tea Da for a weekend brunch with my family, and it was great. The bottomless pott of tea was very tasty, and the brunch of fruits, chicken french, scones, etc. was delicious. Each room is designed according to a particular theme. I was in an Alice in Wonderland tea party styled room, which very interesting. Also interesting is that the entrance leads to a pile of silly hats, which most of the patrons pick up and wear.
Make sure you make reservations though. It gets packed. I used two t's on pott, because citysearch says that pott with one t is an inappropriate word. How ridiculous is that?
