M0use Infestation. As an employee of Dinosaur BBQ I have to inform you that the building has a serious M0use infestation problem. The restaurant itself has gone through 3 different extermination companies to rid the building of m!ce. To there dismay the problem persists. I have had a number of occasions when I have either seen m!ce, m!ce sh!t, dead m!ce, or m0use traps. The place is a filthy dive and should be burnt to the ground.

The honest truth. Let's be fair here folks. Dinosaur is not great as many of you have said. The food is decent tasting but the price is high. Honestly the last ribs I got there were dry. I got better ribs from Country Sweet. No offense to Country Sweet but you expect a little better than that from Dinosaur. The location as it sits right on the river is unique, but parking...forget about it! Now I feel obligated to offer a bit of my own impression about the staff. Have any of them ever heard about bathing and hygiene? I realize this is not a suit and tie restarant but c'mon already! It looks like the cooks are there because their tattoo shops are slow and they needed something to fill the time. Face piercings, tattoos, dreadlocks, unkept facial hair and sloppy appearances are getting to be socially acceptable but PLEASE not where I come to eat. Clean it up a bit folks. They laugh and joke around behind the grills over the open food. I apologize for painting this mental picture of an unclean restarant. I am sure they have an approved set up but it just doesn't suit my liking. Those of you who love this place and think I am out of line I invite you to check it out for yourself next time you are in there. Go to the take-out area and just watch for a minute or two. The folks from out of town, you can do better. Try Sticky-Lips, Famous Dave's or if you can find Uncle Ralph cooking at a local place in town...go there! Uncle Ralph is what BBQ is. Sticky-Lips food is better than Dinosaur although the location isn't any better. Famous Dave's is a chain restaurant but still does well. Bottom line...Dinosaur is ok if you don't mind bad parking, long waits, dirty staff and high prices.

Best BBQ in Rochester, NY!. My Husband and I have been eating at the Dinosaur BBQ For over 5 years, and we absolutely love it.

The Service is wonderful, we have made good friends with many of the employees there.

They also were used when we got married, we ordered all our food for our outside reception from the Dinosaur BBQ. They delivered it , fresh and Hot and the portion sizes were awesome.

we had left overs for days!

I personally Love their pulled pork and Ribs the best, and did I mention...Their Deserts are fantastic as well.

If you are a Resident of Rochester, or just passing through, stop in to the Dinosaur today.

You definately will not regret it.

Best BBQ. Great BBQ, location, and casual ambience. Absolutely everything we had to eat was delicious, including creole mustard chicken wings, ribs, roasted corn, and BBQ beans. The beer selection was impressive, served a little too cold for my taste though. The place is very popular so it gets a little crowded, but everyone's pretty friendly. You can't go wrong with the food!

I love this place !. I LOVE DINO. FROM THE MINUTE I WALKED IN, THE SERVICE ROCKED. I WAS SEATED PROMPTLY, THE FOOD WAS NICE & HOT. BEST BBQ I'VE EVER HAD. LIVE BLUES & COLD BOOZE - JUST INCREDIBLE. HAD A GREAT TIME. IT'S NICE TO HAVE A PLACE TO PARK MY HARLEY RIGHT OUT FRONT. THANKS DINO. I WILL DEFINATELY BE BACK !!!!!!

Burned food. I went to Dinosaur because of city search's high rating. I can't believe this restaurant get 9.1 point.

We ordered chicken wings and barbecue ribs got burned and mixed with sauce.

My friend and I should remove those burned area during dinner!

I am so disappointed.

Best BBQ in the area!. Dinosaur is flat out the best BBQ in Rochester, but because of that, the place is always packed. Well worth the wait.

rochester tourist attraction. if you're in rochester, definately check out dinosaur. famous for their food. be prepared to wait very long for a table during peak hours. once seated, you'll be happy you waited. parking on the street can be tough, try a side street or a parking garage.

Dinosaurs. The Bar-b-que sauce is excelent. I love the old building, it makes the whole experience complete. The staff is fast and efficient. I will definately visit again the next time I'm in Rochester. There is usually a wait to get a table but it's worth it.

great ribs. Wonderful food, the ribs are amazing, and great value for money. Have to watch out what time you go, as can become very busy and crowded and wait times can be long, but all a good testiment to how great the food is!
