BE ADVISED - STORE CREDIT ONLY

I went into the store for the very first time to make a purchase and asked the individual at the checkout what the return policy was and she stated "30 days. But don't worry, it won't be coming back". As to tell me oh you'll love it and keep it. Well, I decide to return the items and I was told store credit only. Then she slid a little sign over to me that is placed on the countertop amoung the other items so that it is not noticable that read store credit within 30 days. I'm really disappointed as I feel like I was mislead. I was then told to call back when the owner was there but that she was out on vacation until the following week. I tried to contact them but without success. I am now stuck with $130 worth of merchandise. I would have reconsidered the initial purchase if the individual was up front with me to begin with. Buyer Beware!
