Magical canalside location.
I've been to Aladdin's many times over the years and never had a bad experience. The food is always delicious (admittedly I order the same thing every single time, since I love it so much [the vegetarian sampler platter]), the prices are a bargain for the portion sizes, the service is efficient, they have an incredible selection of sinfully-rich desserts, and their canalside location is the ultimate treat.

Aladdins- the healthiest bargain of an eatery in rochester, with a great atmosphere..
I absolutely love Aladdins, it's gotten to the point where i can't go anywhere else without comparing it to Aladdins and being dissapointed. The quality of food is fantastic. The service is quick- even when they're packed. The servers are darling- and the prices?! AMAZING. The only suggestion is PUT SEAFOOD ON THE MENU PLEASE.

a charm on the canal....
Located along the Erie canal, which stretches from Albany, to Buffalo, NY....u will find a chaming little Greek cuisine joint.
During a brief walk through shoen place plaza, we ran across this place. I was with my girlfriend. It was one of our first date's.
It was mid august, and we were able to have a nice lunch, outrside, on the patio...overlooking the Erie canall.
She had the mussakah. I had the spanikopita. Both great.
Its a comforable, relaxing, and refreshing experience. The food quality and prices where quite a bargain, also.
A nice lunch place, with alot of charm and a little romance. I dig it...

Like a Magic Carpet Ride....
This place has it all: healthy, exotic food, great service, lovely atmosphere. Sit on the outside terrace and watch a wedding party accross the river or the ducks in it...look at everything from the wine list to dessert and get really comfortable: you'll be here awhile. As for the food, prepare to fall in love. Start with some fresh pressed juice. The salads and entrees are impressive as the diffrerent flavors of fresh pasta they serve. (I'll save those as a surprise). If you were a kid who never liked spinach, one bite of theirs (sauteed with olive oil, garlic, and lemon) will make you admit that Mom and Popeye were right! Are you an omnivore? ANY of their chicken, beef, or shrimp dishes will make you wonder if they're marinated in some otherworldly spices. Aladdin's is more than dining, it's a magic carpet ride!
