Weekly regular with their amazing food!. Best Calamari Salad in ALL OF ROCHESTER!!! By far the best salad I have ordered since my 25 years walking on this planet. Too bad it took me the 25 years to get to Tapas 177! It's consistently great food with great service for an affordable price! Highly Recommend! - Hilary O.

No Thanks!. I made a reservation for two for 6:30. Arrived at 6:00 and was told to not stay at the bar to long because they had a lot of reservations to fill. At 6:30 on the dot we asked to be seated. When we got downstairs our table was not ready. We had to stand and wait for linens and settings. Our table was very small and it wobbled all over the place. They did attempt to fix the table but did not. at that point we should have been moved.We ordered the infamous crab cakes which were deep fried way too long. One of our entrees was scallops which were good however the rice in the center of the plate was served with an ice cream scoop like a school lunch. The other entree was the Jambalaya. It was very bland with a sweetness to it. Very bad! I would not recommend this place at all!

The best of everything.. Tapas has been our favorite for over 10 years. The best bartenders, servers and of course FOOD! I can't say enough about this Rochester gem.

Great NYC/Madrid vibe. One of my favorite spots for late night food, drinks, and dancing. Smooth, dark atmosphere. Of my many meals here, only one was way oversalted, the rest were fantastic. Great drinks and wine menu, and a fun crowd with a dj sometimes. I always expect to see a large crowd of hipster Europeans smoking heavily at the next table, but it never happens.

A MUST VISIT!!!!. While visiting Rochester on business, we decided to visit Tapas 177. The food was AWESOME! Order some tapas, but do not overlook the entrees, as they are equally impressive. Wine selection was excellent, even by the glass and paired well with the food. I almost licked the dessert plate!!!!

HOT SPOT!. GREAT ATMOSPHERE, HIGH ENERGY LEVEL, FRIENDLY & GOOD LOOKING WOMEN! GREAT ATTITUDE. NO I'M TOO GOOD FOR YOU THOUGHT.

GOOD AGE GROUP VARIETY. SINGLES HOT SPOT.

I'LL BE THERE FOR SURE REGULARLY.

Come to Salsa. Dont forget your dancing shoes when you come to Tapas. The food is enough to get you hear, the music will bring you to your feet. The outdoor area off the dancefloor in summertime is divine. Couples are comfortable here as much as singles. The diningroom is a tad crowded & not terribly comfortable. Valet parking.

Best Atmosphere In Roc. Tapas is a refreshing scene in an area where italian food rules the culinary palate. The atmosphere is by far the best in the area. I had the tuna and it was excellent and prepared to my liking. The dark dinning room is romantic and warm, and the food and drinks exceptional. Dispite the name this is a fusion restaurant not just latin food! I can't wait to go back.
