Tapas has been our favorite for over 10 years. The best bartenders, servers and of course FOOD! I can't say enough about this Rochester gem.

Great NYC/Madrid vibe

One of my favorite spots for late night food, drinks, and dancing. Smooth, dark atmosphere. Of my many meals here, only one was way oversalted, the rest were fantastic. Great drinks and wine menu, and a fun crowd with a dj sometimes. I always expect to see a large crowd of hipster Europeans smoking heavily at the next table, but it never happens.

• Pros: nice late night vibe, great drinks and food, nice crowd
• Cons: it's in the middle of frat-bar row on st.paul

A MUST VISIT!!!!

While visiting Rochester on business, we decided to visit Tapas 177. The food was AWESOME! Order some tapas, but do not overlook the entrees, as they are equally impressive. Wine selection was excellent, even by the glass and paired well with the food. I almost licked the dessert plate!!!!
