Terrible Experience!!!

I had a terrible experience here and am still in shock! I ordered lunch for take out, was told that it would take 15 mins. When I arrived to pick it up 30 mins later, there was a long line and it appeared that only one woman (whom I'm assuming was the owner) was working- taking orders and making food. When it was finally our turn at the counter, the woman was very short with me, and rudely informed me that the food was not ready and I'd have to wait. When I asked if I could at least pay, she abruptly said "No." I acted obviously annoyed that the food was late and that she was so rude, but my behavior definitely didn't warrant the response I got... she started yelling at me and causing a scene in front of the line of people. She took my half made sandwich and THREW IT IN THE GARBAGE, telling me to get out of her store and never come back! Who treats people, let alone paying customers this way?? Unbelievable!!!!

Best Chicken Sandwich In Rochester!

I have been going to the deli for 4-5 years now, and I have taken all my friends and family there for a chicken sandwich. Everytime we walk out the door the 1st thing they tell me is "damn thats the best chicken sandwich I have ever had!". The next thing they realize is the price they paid for it compared to the rest of the restraunts/cafe's on park ave, which in my opinion are all over priced and nowhere near as good as oxfords. So not only is the food geat but the the service is amazing! The deli is family owned by a mother son duo , they keep the place neat and clean, and play great music. I love the "deli" and i recommend anyone who loves great food at a great price in a great location better go down and check it out!

great lunch menu with a variety of hot/cold sandwiches and subs. no waiter service and the food could take a while during lunch hours. good value for money. street parking can be hard to find
