I always leave smiling.... I have followed my favorite stylist, Phillip, since he started his styling career and I have never changed stylists, with good reason. Phillip is very talented and passionate. He takes the time to get to know his clients so that they walk out with the exact style they want, even if they didn't know it! I cannot tell you how many times I've walked into my appointment and have told Phillip I had no plan, and he's always come up with a style I love! He's personable and always makes me feel comfortable. A perfect stylist for any age, as I've seen him create beautiful styles for many of his clients. I highly recommend Phillip (the other stylists at the salon are friendly and talented as well!).

The salon itself is cozy, clean, and located in the very cute Park Ave area. Parking can be difficult at times, but it's worth the trouble for a fabulous cut! A taste of luxury in a sometimes dreary city.

LOVE Salon 113. My first appointment at Salon 113 was amazing! The facility is clean and the people are welcoming. My hair stylist, Phil, not only listened to what I wanted but he also was attentive to what worked best for my hair. I honestly do not think I have loved a haircut this much - Phil has a talent and passion for his work that translates into excellent results and great customer service! I don't know why I have not come sooner :)

So happy!. Yes!! I finally found a stylist who knows exactly what I want and what will look good for me!

On my first visit to Philip, he understood exactly what I wanted for my hair cut and was able to help me with a great new idea for color! His knowledge of color and style makes me feel so confident every time I go to the salon. He gives me great tips on how to care for my hair and get better results on my own styling. To top it all off, Philip's friendly personality will make you feel warm and at home the minute you walk in the door! I couldn't ask for a better salon experience. Love him!!

Love it! :). I have been getting my hair cut by Jan for about 5 years now, and wouldn't go anywhere else. Even though my hair is short and a relatively simple cut, I never feel like she's in a hurry or like I've been squeezed in between appointments for people whose 'dos take longer. Unlike almost everywhere else I have gone in the past, too - I NEVER find myself going home that night and having to get out my scissors to correct little stray strands that got missed!

Amazing!. Philip is the best out there. Between the great haircuts and the genuine conversations, I don't think I can ever get a haircut from anyone else. He knows his stuff. I used to hate getting haircuts...usually they have to grow on me. But with Philip, I'm never disappointed. Philip is such a sweetheart, and a trustworthy stylist.

Found a stylist!. Philip is the only person I've been to in the past 5 years that actually makes me want to come back! He took the time to talk to about what I wanted, what I liked what I didn't like, and was completely genuine! I felt like he cared about giving me a great haircut that works for me and not just about earning money and moving on with his day. Philip kept the conversation going and it was just an overall excellent experience. I haven't had a stylist in nearly 5 years but I actually made another appointment before I left because I was so happy with Philip and my experience. Salon 113 is full of great, caring stylists and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a great haircut, and overall wonderful experience!

Genuine. Phillip really listened to what i had envisioned with my hair. He also took the time to speak with my mother as she was waiting, being just as courteous to her as he was to me! Both him and the other stylist were charming and polite. Meeting a hairstylist for the first time is always nerve wrecking on so many levels...Phillip eagerly engaged in conversation and thus created laughter instead of awkward silence. When i went to work on Monday morning, everyone had nothing but praise for my beautiful highlights. He even offered to cut my two year old's hair, fully knowing i would be the type of mom to stare at every clip! It was such a relief to feel so comfortable and welcomed. I would recommend this salon to anyone and everyone...thank you Phillip!

Fantastic. I second everything said by APott15 below!

Before I met Philip, I had never been loyal to any one hair stylist because no one had ever seemed to cut my unruly (thick and kinda wavy, kinda frizzy) hair well enough for me to feel it was worthwhile to go back. I've now been going to Philip for my haircuts without fail for three years and counting- he does an amazing job every time, and my hair ends up looking great with very little day-to-day effort on my part! I always look forward to seeing Philip, both for the haircut and the company. He's extremely professional, while also charming and engaging. To boot, Salon 113 has a stylish, chic ambiance and is easy to find on the corner of Park Ave and Meigs. I can't recommend this place enough, definitely check it out!

Fabulous stylist/colorist in a gorgeous, comfy setting!. I have now been going to Philip for my hair cuts and colorings for about 3 years. I absolutely always come out with a fantastic new look -- people consistently ask me who my hairdresser is after I've seen Phil. Since we met, I've referred about 8 of my good friends (both men AND women), and all are satisfied. We love Philip!

Salon 113 is a gorgeous, quaint space with beautiful light and an incredibly convenient location on Park Ave. Its always a personalized experience when I go to Salon 113. Philip doesn't treat you like a client, he immediately accepts you as a friend.

I can't endorse Philip & Salon 113 enough. GO! You won't be disappointed!

Salon 113 is where it's at!. Eureka! I have found the one (salon, that is)!!! The atmosphere is absolutely phenomenal and just plain cozy;I felt right at home. I didn't even need to worry about running out of the house without my coffee because they had some waiting for me! Bonus!!!

My stylist, Phillip, has got the gift of transforming all my mumbo-jumbo hair talk and turning it into exactly the style/color that I want. I don't know how he does it, but I NEVER walk out of there with less than a huge smile on my face and feeling like a million bucks! If you go there once, you will never go anywhere else!
