YUMMY GARDEN COCKROACHX. Yummy Garden on Meigs St: I have ordered food from Yummy Garden many times as their food has a unique flavor. At my place of work we ordered using Yummy Gardens convenient online ordering menu. The first and second time the receipt the deliverer brought to be signed, had a higher amount listed, than the confirmation amount online. We complained but they did absolutely nothing.

We ordered a third and last time even though they previously charged us the wrong amount. After eating my meal, my manager (who also ordered) called me into her office. To my disbelief, there was an inch long COCKROACHX fully intact at the bottom of her container !!!!!!! I have been eating Chinese food all my life and have never come across something as appalling as that. I will never eat from Yummy Garden again and hope they clean up their restaurants deplorable conditions for the sake of other unknowning customers. And yes, I have called the Dept. of Health to investigate for all the poor souls that don't read this.

Possibly the best Chinese takeout food in the state. Compared to other Chinese takeouts both here and downstate this place is a 5 star takeout, the beef and broccoli is excellent, wonton soup, lo mein, chicken with cashew nuts, bourbon chicken, egg rolls, everything I have ordered is a step above the usual, and I eat Chinese food a lot. They are always fast with pickup, delivery time has ranged from 20-50 minutes and I give them a lot of credit for hiring city kids to do deliveries.

excellent chinese delivery. As Americanized Chinese food goes, this place is pretty darn good and you get your money's worth! You better be hungry.. each order gives you enough for two!
