worst experience
by June2009
uses a razor for haircut. looked ugly, very disappointed for $100+tip haircut.
color: she charged 10 or 20 dollar fee for consultation just to pick the color - ridiculous, when I refusd to have a consultation session, she said that she did not like a "cheap" customer. during the entire session, I had to listen how she disliked CHEAP customers, it was the worst experience. By the way, she only colored half of my hair; when I came back to ask her to color the other half, she refused to fix it. I paid over 150 just to color half of the hair.
- Pros: none
- Cons: worst hair cut and color, too expensive, customer service
Good service-Great people

I have been a client of Chi Wahs for many years now. If you want a good hair cut and like Aveda, I recommend this salon. Her staff seems young, but Chi Wah trains each of them herself. I feel good about this business because I see the wonderful things Chi Wah is doing for the community by providing her staff with a great education. You can see the teamwork by the stylists there and I feel confident that I could go to any of them if I can not get in with Chi Wah herself. I recommend this salon to anyone who does not want to go to a salon based on gossip and is looking for a decent hair style.
- Pros: great cuts, good customer service, educated in field
- Cons: sylists seem young
Only if you need a trim...

I went to this salon 3 times and left disappointed each time. The last time I had to go someplace else 2 days later to have them straighten out the mess that I was given at Chi Wah. I found that when the owner was not at the salon that the staff were not as professional as I would like, more interested in conversing with each other than actually listening to the customer. I would recommend this salon only if you needed a trim, not a new style. I would not recommend the salon if you have hard-to-mange hair as the staff seems to need more training.
- Pros: spacious salon
- Cons: staff needs more skills/customer service/professionalism
