Amazed every time. I have been coming to Chi Wah organica for over 7 years now and I have never walked out disappointed. My hairdresser for the past 3 or 4 years has been Selena. She never fails to make my hair look fantastic. I also go to her to get my eyebrows done and they come out amazing every time. I constantly get compliments on my eyebrows and how my hair is cut. While I'm there, I feel completely comfortable knowing I am in such good hands. Selena, and all of the other stylists at the salon are welcoming and kind. They always make you feel at home & they are always a good conversation. Selena always makes sure that I walk out pleased and that I look my very best. The fact that it is an Aveda salon makes it all the better because the products are fantastic. I highly recommend Chi Wah Organica and all of the stylists there to everyone! They always do a great job and are highly knowledgeable.

Artistry. As a client of Chi Wah, I know that I am getting my hair cut by not just a stylist, but an artist. She has always been completely invested in making sure that I look my very best when I leave the salon. She has perfected her craft and still manages to be a very down to earth individual.

While I am at ChiWah Organica, I am relaxed and at peace because I know that I am in good hands and that I am surrounded by highly skilled professionals.

Nice salon. I've been coming here to get my brows done (both Chi Wah and Salena) since they opened up at Clover Commons. Always very accommodating, nice staff, always happy with my brows.

My daughter has had her (tons of thick, curly) hair cut by both Chi Wahvand Salena - I was happy with both, and impressed with how patient they were with her.

Never disappointed. I've been going to Chi Wah practically since I moved to Rochester in 2008 and I've never been disappointed. In fact, I look forward to going every month -- not just for a great haircut, but because everyone there is awesome (especially Erica!). They make you feel welcome and are always a good conversation. The fact that they use Aveda products is a bonus.

I would highly recommend Chi Wah Organica to everyone!

Always A Good Experience. I have been going to see Chi Wah and several of her staff for many, many years. Every time I go there, the service and product is consistent and reliable. I always leave happy with my new haircut or color.

I have noticed that Chi Wah and her staff, specifically Salena, who has been cutting my hair for many years, are very attentive to their clients. Salena always takes her time with me, and I have never felt rushed during my appointments. She is very knowledgeable about cutting hair and all Aveda products, and always recommends the right products for me without going overboard.

I highly recommend coming here for any spa/salon service, as the experience is wonderful and your haircut/color/highlights will receive plenty of compliments!

Consistanly good service. I have been going to Erica for a few years now and I have always had a good experience at Chi Wah. They are all very friendly and all the time I spend there (I get my hair cut and colored every 6 weeks) I have never seen a terrible cut or damage from hair coloring. My hair cut always get compliments and I have sent alot of my friends there. It is unfortunate reading some of the negitive reviews because my experience has never been like that.

Simply Terrible!. I asked to have a haircut with Chi Wah. She charges so much money and she is terrible. First, she wants to pull your head off when she's washing your hair, it hurts! Second, she has to straighten your hair in order to cut it? And it sounds like your hair is frying when she straightens it. Third, is overpriced for the lack of skill she has. What a waist of money!!

shockingly horrible. For $150 I would expect an excellent cut, great color and to at least be asked if I am happy with my hair at the end of it all. I received none of the above. I don't want to go back to waste my time to even have my hair fixed. I asked for blonde highlights - not a strange shade of orange. And she said she had to straighten my hair in order to see if the cut was even - a VERY BAD sign. I lovetheir Aveda products but sadly, they don't know how to use them.

What a disappointment. I'd heard great things about Chi Wah, so I was shocked when I sat for two hours in her chair and listened to her talk about herself, her failed first marriage, her troubled second marriage, how Ramon Santiago wanted to sleep with her. Holy Moly. She actually took time to find a picture of her in her wedding dress to show me how beautiful she was.

This would have been bearable if I liked the result of my hair, but I didn't. I ended up slightly orange, with a bill of $175.

Fool that I am I stopped back in for a bang trim three weeks later, and she chopped them so short I almost wept. But I'm a big girl and I know that hair will grow back.

But the hairdresser I went to next told me that she (Chi Wah) had bleached my hair to do the highlights, so now I have to wait for it to grow out before he can do highlights without damaging my hair.

Beware. I think she might have been great once ... but no more.

Great Style, Good Price. I've been going to Chi Wah Organica for 1 1/2 years. The first time I went I did a drastic hairstyle change. My sister-in law had been going there for years so I felt comfortable jumping in head first. I had been switching around salons and could never find anyone that listened to me and gave me their honest educated input back.

I cut about 10 inches off. As the girl was cutting my hair, Chi Wah herself was overseeing the cut herself to be sure of the quality. I couldn't have been happier when I left. I have been going ever since. The price is great too.

I don't color my hair so I can't comment on that, but I have never left unhappy.

And as a response to the woman that said Chi Wah didn't blow dry her hair all the way... They do that on purpose as to not overdry and damage your hair.
