Great products, Top of the line Products/Equipment. I don't understand all of the negative reviews here! I have been to this salon 3 times so far (for massage, manicure and hair cut & color). All of the times have been there have been great! The stylists are wonderful and really know their stuff! Their product lines are the best around (Kerastase, Bumble & Bumble). They are a tad pricey, however, any nice salon is expensive. Totally worth the pricetag!

Left me very sad.. I was a client at Scott Miller's for years until a newer colorist damaged my hair beyond repair. I did feel bad for the boy because I knew he was upset, but the supervisors saw what he was doing and never stopped him. Now I will never go back because I feel the customer service was heart breaking. I was devastated. My hair broke off into a ridiculous boy cut that did not look good, even after a trim. I am still growing out the damage to cut off and it has been four months. My hair is just too short to take it all off at once now.

The saddest part for me is that I can't allow myself to spend another cent there because I felt so horrible about myself after this preventable disaster. Some of the stylists are talented and educated. I very badly miss Dan who is great at cutting.

Because I was left with fishing line for hair, I can't recommend them. I now go to Michael Avery in the city. It is a lovely place and they have very genuine people there.

Thank you.

Scott Miller Salon. Just moved from NYC and really nervous to find a new salon, one of my friends recommended a bumble and bumble salon Scott Miller. so i thought great i will give it a try! As soon as i walked in i was greated by two very sweet girls to check in. I was then comfortably seated to enjoy coffee, water, and even chocolate! My stylist was really nice and full of energy and she listened to everything i wanted and even added her ideas which made my haircut look so much more modern. She cut both with scissors and razor..and it turned out WONDERFUL!I loved this place and i already schedule my next appointment!

bad haircut and color. I had a gift certificate for color and Haircut. Explained exactly about the color and brought in a picture. It came out totally different. The haircut was terrible and the person styling my hair and no clue how to do it. . I have short hair with an eay style so there should have not been a problem. I would never go back.

Waste of money and your time. I agree with the poor reviews. This is place is totally hyped up. I got a hair cut in FEB 07' and Im still trying to fix the mess that they did. Too expensive, definitely not worth it. Im originally from Miami, Fl. If only I could go back and get a haircut there.

Absolutely Wonderful. Scott Miller really is a great place. I frequently go there for all my services. They have the best massages in town! I always feel pampered when i get my hair done or have a pedicure there. The people who work there are so nice and friendly. My favorite part is their makeup! they have great lines like NARS and Bobbi Brown (which you can't get anywhere in Rochester, not even Sephora). Best of all though, their makeup artists are talented and very well trained. They know all the brands and always offer exceptional service. I never have to wait in line or feel like i'm an inconvenience to the receptionists. I really feel great when i leave there. I'm happy there's such a place in town!

Not the best in town. lousy haircut experience, very average massage, and the only semi-good experience was the pedicure. way overpriced, too.

BAD HAIR DAY. I have tried this Salon, three times, hoping that it could live up to all the Hipe! It has been a letdown

each time. I live in NYC, where you demand excellance and great service, so hoping for that experience

at this salon, I got neither. The staff is uppity, obnoxious and very small minded. The haircutters use

razor's and are not skilled in scissor cuts at all(as it takes more skill to be great with scissors), and to top it

off it is located in a very boring strip mall, next to Marshalls Department store!

Although it's decor is modern and somewhat hip, that is as good as it gets. Save your money (very overpriced) and your time and go somewhere else. I know I will.

Don't Bother. This is the most overpriced mess I've ever been to. The stylist used a razor to cut my hair and was obviously untrained. It was a disaster.

The "salon" has an industrial feel to it and it not a nice place to be.

You will pay heavy money for a terrible cut and surly, arrogant "service."

It is a situation of extreme arrogance masking inexperience and lack of knowledge.

nice salon. I've had mixed experiences with hairstylists there, I got one haircut that I totally hated, and it was not what I asked for. But the nice thing was, they scheduled me again to get it fixed, and I did have the option of getting a different stylist. I was glad I did, because the next stylist was great.

In response to the "ouch" posting above - I don't think that Scott Miller is necessarily at fault for a person's skin's sensitivity to waxing. I think it's a common problem. I often break out after getting waxed, and I'm pretty sure that the soothing after cream is at fault. I don't know which ingredient causes the problem, or which salons' products will bother my skin, but I've found if I just don't let them put that stuff on after the waxing, then I have less of a problem.
