I have been going here for years, and now the rest of my family does too, including my teenage daughter. I've gone to Alex and really wasn't sure how I wanted my hair. He has done a great job listening to me and giving me a cut that looks and grows out great. My daughter has gone to John and she has gotten fun and different cuts that all seem to work well for her. I would definately recommend going here.

DO NOT use this hair salon if you're under the age of 30, perhaps even 40. I am a college student who was given the cold treatment as soon as I arrived: silent hairdresser, rushed haircut, combs and scissors bouncing roughly off of my head. Because my presence was treated as an imposition, Bordeaux Salon will not be getting any more of my business.

professional cut at a fair price. I have experience with Alex and Jody. Jody cuts my daughter's hair, Alex does mine. At some point all professionals can cut hair flawlessly, then the product of their effort is a result of artistic vision, not technical abilities. That is what you get at Bordeaux: vision and experience. Your goal is to communicate effectively what you want, or ask them to help you create your look based on your style and how much effort you want to put into maintenance. Then it is just a matter of taste....

Talented Stylists. Alex & John go out of their way to please you. They are true stylists with 30+ years each in the business.

You get professionals who charge a fair price.

They can get you in sometimes with little notice and always have a smile and a kind word!

Great Color. John did my hair, he is the first person I have let touch my hair since moving to Rochester. He gave me the PERFECT color and knew exactly what I wanted and expected. With the cut I told him to do whatever he wanted as long as I could pull it back into a pony tail, it's awesome! Will for sure be coming back to this salon. Reasonably priced, great service, great listening skills and they make you feel right at home. Just wish the salon was a little cleaner.

Recommend without reservation!. Alex is the ONLY one I have ever allowed to do whatever he wants to my hair and I am ALWAYS happy. He would never let my look get dated. It is always easy to maintain and just trendy enough for me! I get compliments on both cut and color from complete strangers. I recommend him very highly, and I am a super pickey client!

they are the best!. Love this place! John did my hair - came out wonderful!!!!! Knew just what I was looking for & made me look & feel like a million bucks! Tendy salon, knowledgeable staff, not at all over priced!
