I had taken my 15 year old daughter here for full high lights back in February 2013. I had explained in detail to the hair dresser, Jennifer, that i wanted her hair fully high lighted. Jennifer claimed she understood. She took my daughter, who had never had anything like this done to her hair, around the corner and proceeded to talk her into dying her hair. Jennifer never consulted with me, she told my daughter that this would be "better" than high lighting. End result was an awful yellow color full head dying of my daughters hair. My daughter was not happy with the result. The next day I went back to the salon and spoke with Justin, the salon owner, who I explained what had happened and that we were not happy with the service and would either like someone else, not Jennifer, to fix it or refund my money. He explained to me that it is their policy for the person who did her hair to fix her hair and that he would not refund my money. I explained to him that Jennifer had not done what we had asked in the beginning and I did not want her working on my daughter. He then explained his policy to me again that ONLY Jennifer would be able to do her hair. I again explained that I did not want her working on my daughter and again asked for a refund. He would not do anything to remedy the situation except have the girl that did not listen to our request in the beginning do her hair. I choose not to return and went elsewhere, where they did high lights and low lights to give her the look she was looking for. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Overall Just a Good Salon. I've been going to New York Line of Hair Design since I was a junior in highschool and I'm now in college but honestly best place to go get your hair done! I recommend Amanda, she really is great I trust her completely and anything she does to you hair she will make you look awesome no matter what! The prices are a little steep for me but it is totally worth it, the job they do there is just awesome
