Amazing food and service!!!!

Domenico's was such a nice treat for me and my boyfriend for a Saturday night date. We were seated promptly and given the choice of sitting inside or outside. We choose to sit inside because they were having a band out on the patio. Our server was friendly but a little overwhelmed with a lot of tables. We ordered drinks and an appetizer which were both promptly served. My dinner, chicken and artichoke scampi, was one of the best meals I have ever had. To cleanse your palate, they serve a sorbet with a shot of vodka, just before your meal is served. Very nice touch. I would go back in a hearbeat and I am looking forward to the next trip.

Finally, real italian food!

I am a huge fan of Domenico's! I went in with my husband and my 3 sons and the first thing my sons noticed were the hostesses! They were very professional in dress pants and dresses and greeted us with a smile. They sat us at the table (a booth =]) and a young man brought us water and bread. Our server asked us if we'd ever been here before and told us about the fresh bread and the specials for the day. We ordered a family meal which came with choices of apps, salad, sorbet, dinner, and dessert. The rasberry sorbet martini were excellent. The food did take some time but it was well worth it since we were told the food was made to order which was proven when we ate. It didn't taste processed or like chain restaurants. The best part was the chicken domenico! It had chicken with shrimp, artichokes peppers and melted cheese drowned in a lemon sauce. It was awesome my boys loved it. The next week we ordered take-out and it was just as delicious. They even wrapped up that home made bread for us in our take out bag. I did notice the staff was young but I enjoyed it. They had alot more energy than older waitresses.I think its wonderful that that establishment gives kids jobs in that "family" enviornment. Domenico's is under rated to me. One suggestion I would make.. go during the week! My husband and I went in on a saturday and it was a 45 minute wait!

Great Food and Great Service

What can I say, but I had an excellent evening at Domenico's. The bread they gave us was wonderful along with the oil and vineger. We ordered Fried Calamari and it was great. They then served us rasberry sorbet to cleanse our pallet before dinner and that was something new and unique to the Rochester scene. I had ordered the Chx Marsala and it was to die for. Everything about Domenico's was great. I am reccommending it to all my friends and family.

Great Homemade Italian Cuisine

Last weekend I went to Domenico's and it was one of the best dining experiences I have had up to date. The bread was amazing with the oil and vinegar and we had the best artichoke french I have ever had. The french sauce was just the best i have ever had. We also got sorbet before our dishes came out and that was a nice touch. I ordered the Chicken Domenico and is delicous and I had so much left over for lunch the next day. Great place, great food and great service. Definitely one of the best local establishments Rochester.

Good Food - Loose the teen staff

My husband and I went to Domenico's last night. We went straight from work -just after 5pm.

We stood at the door for a while waiting to be led to our table. In the mean time a bunch of kids in the kitchen were yelling and running around. One of the teens yelled out a curse [one of the worst.]. A waiter went to the kitchen to tell them to cool it. He was obviously embarrassed, as we were. We should have left. But after a long day at work decided to tough it out. After while we were finally seated. The waitress was great and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, I will never go back because of the immature teen staff. And the cause for my low rating.

Poor food, worse customer service.

Domenico's is an out of the way restaurant, with a small, but nice interior. The food is some of the worst I have ever had, though. I ordered a steak medium rare, and the server brought out a dried out piece of meat cooked well done. When I mentioned the error, she told me I should just eat it because "it will take a while to cook a new one." If the steak had at least looked appetizing, I might have considered. So, I requested again, a medium rare steak. And twenty minutes later (I am not making this up) I am brought another dried out well done steak.

The appetizers weren't much better, with a scallop dish bordering on inedible.

Love this place! Food is delicious, people are super, you won't be disappointed.
