This place has a traditional Italian menu and is always busy! The food is great and so is the wait staff. It has a great location, but not enough parking.
Once again...A great meal.

I must say that I am puzzled by the reviews posted on this restaurant.I have been to the Northside Inn well over a dozen times.I am never disappointed. Wonderful authentic italian food combined with great service. The specials are always amazing. The calamari salad my favorite, and the greens and beens are the best I have ever had. I would feel confident sending friends, and family here to dine.I have yet to have a meal I did not enjoy.
Perhaps if you like fast food italian then this is not the place for you. However ,if you are looking for authentic italian flavor you will not be disappointed. As my father would say,"It is not an italian restaurant unless they have tripe, and gnocci on the menu".
- Pros: Great food,great service
- Cons: none
Nothing like it used to be!

I was very dissapointed on my last time to Northside. I can remember going there at least 15 times over the years. They used to have homade fettuccine alfredo to die for. Egg linguine and great red sauce. Not any more.
I had Calamari over pasta with Marinara. The squid was WAY overcooked and the whole dish was bitter. My wife had the Alredo which was flavorless and not at all like it used to be. My sons shrimp was overcooked in his dish and so on. They used to be top of the list, but now they don't even hold a candle to Pasta Villa, Panevino or Rockys'. I was and still am utterly amazed at how crowded a restaurant can be in a place that serves lousy food. I guess we just don't have enough good competition here in Rochester. Our pizza is a great example of that.
- Pros: NA
- Cons: Food has gone downhill after all these years

The atmosphere was good even if a little outdated. The booths were very old and extremely uncomfortable to sit in. The food was lacking in taste.. I could have done a much better job at home and I'm not a good cook. The mozzarella on the chicken parm. looked inedible. Definitely not worth the prices they charge. I was surprised to see so many people in this restaurant...I've had better food in cafeterias at 1/4 of the price.
