Mike The Clown

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Mike the Clown!

I first met Mike, when we both were performing at the Main Event in Midtown. As we did tricks for kids and handed out balloon animals, I was impressed with his performance style, his professionalism, and his voice which reminded me of Red Skelton, for some reason. Certainly he was every bit as funny, as poised, as charming, as the great Red, I'd loved since a kid. we felt mutual respect and comrade-ship, never rivals, but co- performers.

The 2nd time we met, was at a Society of American Magicians (SAM) picnic. My fellow magis were all a twitter that Mike the Clown was giving his audition show, after which we were to vote on IF we were going to admit him into the ranks of Coperfield and Houdini,both honored SAM members. He was UNANIMOUSLY accepted, with ovation and a feeling that SAM had truly benefited from his

joining our magic circle.

What was especially amusing was that I had to re-introduce myself to him.It was the first time that we'd seen each other without our makeup on!

The zippered bag, that is shown to be empty inside and out, then silks- vanish, reappear,change colors. sizes , and textures, multiply, and reform into other objects, can only be called, CLASSIC. His fun interplay with children is done in the manner that puts him tops among many another clown, I've seen or worked with.

When my church asked for another clown act to go with my own, I unhesitently, recomended Mike, and even split my pay with him. I WILL use him again, anytime that I need another act to fill

and top the bill, where I'm performing. And, I recomend him to anybody who wants to get at least twice their monies- worth. If you want a GOOD clown, don't hesitate to ask for Mike, the Clown!
